Tourism by car in Phang Nga?

Hello everyone.

I have searched for tourism information about Phang-Nga, and I see there are some significant points of interest. What isn’t obvious to me is whether that region is worth exploring with a car, or if it is just some scattered points.

The thought is to rent a car in Phuket and spend a few days driving in Phang Nga, obviously seeing some of the tourist points as well as exploring the interesting landscapes and countryside.

Is a road tour a reasonable idea?
