Thailand is famous around the world for its pristine beaches and mouth-watering cuisine.
But now the sun-kissed nation is also showcasing its technological prowess, as part of an event at Expo 2020 Dubai.
Thailand’s national petroleum exploration and production company PTTEP – which has been in partnership with the UAE since 2019 – is holding an exhibition at the world’s fair.
The “Thailand digital and innovation festival” is taking place at the Thailand pavilion from January 30 to February 17, 2022.

Sponsored by PTTEP, the exhibition will display cutting-edge technology including robots and drones. These machines are designed to revolutionise sectors such as farming and subsea repair and inspection work.
“You will be surprised when you see the PTTEP booth,” said Montri Rawanchaikul, CEO of Thailand’s PTTEP.
