CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, Ohio — Since 1997, City Buddha has brought pieces of Larry Collins’ travels around the world to one location for Clevelanders to enjoy.
First operating at a stall at Ohio City’s Market Square, later moving into Ohio City storefronts and finally nestling into its home at 1807 Coventry Road for the past 12-plus years, City Buddha has made itself a unique shopping destination in the Cleveland Heights neighborhood.
This summer, that will all come to an end, when the shop closes its doors.
“It’s just something I felt I wanted to do now,” Collins said in a phone interview with cleveland.com. “It wasn’t really an economic decision. I just want to move on to other things at some point in my life, take some time to stand back, assess and get over what we’ve gone through, what we’re still going through… It’s just time for me to move on.”
