Strange is in quotes because it is only me who finds this strange, might be normal for others. But have you seen Thai people do this at work (I have seen many people do this over many years)
1. Use eye drops (for dryness) many times a day
2. Clip their nails (even toes) at their desk
3. Work with an inhaler nasal stick sticking out, hanging from their nostril
I only find number 2 a bit disturbing. The sound of the clipper just annoys me to no end.
