A Low-Pressure Area (LPA) will be observed over the southeast Bay of Bengal on Saturday morning. This LPA is likely to intensify over the weekend and is forecast to move northeastward toward Thailand from Monday. Under its influence, fairly widespread rains with lightning can be expected over Andaman & Nicobar Islands on Sunday and Monday. Heavy rain is likely over isolated places of Nicobar Islands on Sunday and Monday.

Meanwhile, a feeble Western Disturbance is likely to affect the Western Himalayan Region on Tuesday and Wednesday.
