Alternating between passports for entry

So I’ve seen multiple people talking about having to come in and go out on tourism visas. I have a hypothetical. If you have dual citizenship say the US and the UK, can you come into Thailand stay some time on a tourist visa on the one passport leave the country for a couple days and then come back in on a tourism visa on the other passport stay some time again and then alternate back to the first one?
