The gunman responsible for an attack at a football field has been apprehended in Chanthaburi province after fleeing the scene. He confessed to the crime, revealing that he had discarded his firearm in a canal. Police are rapidly investigating the motive behind the incident.
Today, news emerged that the suspect had been spotted at a checkpoint in Chanthaburi’s Ban Laem district. This led to the apprehension of a Cambodian national, known as Duang. His arrest was promptly reported to senior police officials.
Following the shooting, Duang had fled, discarding his gun in the Rangsit Canal. He then travelled to Samut Prakan province before heading to Chanthaburi in a bid to evade capture. However, he was ultimately apprehended. Duang confessed to being the gunman, admitting he had disposed of the firearm earlier.
