Uni programme to boost AI literacy

Six universities are planning to run a pilot study programme on artificial intelligence (AI) and computer engineering in the coming term, with the goal of producing about 200 graduates per year, says the Ministry of Higher Education Science Research and Innovation.

The programme is designed with the so-called sandbox course method, allowing the six universities and their students to work closely together, said Minister Anek Laothamatas yesterday.

The universities are CMKL University, King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang, Mahidol University, Khon Kaen University, Chiang Mai University and Prince of Songkla University, he said.
