Flo Louw: ‘Some Boks would tackle Lions in Thailand’

Play them somewhere, rather than not at all: certain South African players could hardly be blamed for feeling those thoughts around the precarious 2021 British and Irish Lions series, says 76-cap Springbok Francois Louw.

But first prize, insists the popular RWC 2019-winning Bok “Bomb Squad” member, must remain doing everything possible to square up to the Lions on South African soil.

Louw was speaking during a wide-ranging interview with Sport24, just ahead of his return from a summer holiday with his family here, to his home base of Bath in the UK.
