I lived in a really nice condo up until the beginning of the year. Towards the end of my lease I politely informed the landlord the bathroom tiles were coming loose. I didn’t demand they be retiled immediately. More informing him so I can’t be blamed when they eventually smash to the ground.
My lease was up and he asked me to vacate the condo, or pay quarterly if I wanted to stay. I decided to vacate and got my full deposit back.
10 months on I saw the same condo advertised for 8k more and also for sale. I reached out to him directly. He agreed the same price I previously paid and I moved in today.
He said she knows and trusts me, so no lease agreement.
I’m not sure if this is a good thing or bad thing? I’m thinking it’s maybe because he’d like to sell.
Should I leave it or ask for a lease agreement?
