Find love in a time of pandemic with the help of Thailand’s fanciful tourism authorities, who today teased trips for singletons looking to mingle on Valentine’s Day among plans for next year.

Journey through the sky like a love-seeking missile or float suggestively down the mighty Chao Phraya River on tours being dreamed up by imagineers at the tourism authority, booster-in-chief Thapanee Kiatpaiboon said today.

The trips could pilot as soon as February, just in time for International Love Day. Thapanee teased ideas like traveling to pay respects and make merit at love and fertility sites frequented by the unlucky-in-loves nationwide.

“It will only be available for single people. This will be a chance for them to find their soul mate and develop a relationship with somebody to welcome February, which is the month of love,” she said.
