Americans in Bangkok: Give thanks for life without COVID at these Thursday feasts

Given the raging pandemic and unsettled election, Americans may find Bangkok the best place to Thanksgiving this year. Though many cannot travel home to see (and argue with) their loved ones (who, ideally, are skipping it this year), they can safely join the feeding frenzy with adopted families, local loved ones or others just stuck in town.

There are an array of venues in Bangkok serving up bird and fixings on this special Thursday day. We found a veggie option and even one set for Friday, for those time-zone purists out there.

Na Cafe

A zero-waste cafe tucked inside a century-old building in old town, Nang Loeng will host a Thanksgiving meal that starts with a kombucha welcome drink and builds to a full buffet starting at 6pm along with live performances. Tickets are THB1,200 and must be reserved in advance
