I’ve done most of the big shopping malls in downtown Bangkok. I was wondering if interesting retail can be found in Chinatown?
I’m thinking of whole streets or neighbourhoods centred around selling one thing Eg watches, stationary or hardware. The kinds of retro mom and pop shops that have stood there for over fifty years and where I can buy some dusty new old stock that hasn’t been touched since 1976.
I’m particularly interested men’s watches and sporting goods (Super sports in Central department stores are soooo boring!)
