Hoping for first-hand knowledge of the best afterhours spot on Phuket to watch UFC 280 this weekend. Complicating matters is the fact that the main card starts at 1.00 Sunday morning, which is technically the start of Chulalongkorn Day–not sure if there’s an alcohol ban Sunday or not, nor how that affects bars. Anywhooo, just need a decent venue for what should be the biggest UFC event in recent history.
I’m a long-term ex-pat who’s familiar with Soi Taied and venues there. I’m not really interested in that location. I assume something in Patong is a great bet, but won’t rule out Rawai, Bangtao, etc.
Again, hoping for some reliable first-hand knowledge rather than speculation. Any solid info would be very much appreciated.
