I’m in Thailand right now and I’ve noticed something strange. When I walk around by myself I don’t get any eye contact with any strangers on the street, but as soon as me and my girlfriend are walking together and holding hands almost every other person looks at us. Is it not normal to walk holding hands in Thailand or why is this happening? I’m 30, she’s 25 and I think we look good together. In Germany strangers never look.
