The National Assembly announced a 50-meter ban on gatherings around the parliament.

The ACC announced a ban on gatherings around the parliament within a radius of 50 meters, coping with voting, effective from 21 to 24 August.

Pol. Lt. Gen. Thiti Saeng, the commander of the Metropolitan Police, signed an order regarding the ban on public gatherings within a radius of no more than 50 meters around the parliament, according to Section 7, last paragraph of the Public Assembly Act B.E. 2558. The Metropolitan Police Division 1 (Bor. Nor. 1) has the most urgent letter dated August 17, 2023, asking to issue a notice prohibiting gatherings around the parliament within a radius of not more than 50 meters.
