The Queen Sirikit Museum of Textiles invites interested persons to join an international online conference titled “Inside-out, Outside-in: The Cross-cultural Exchanges In Textiles And Dress And The New Normal After Covid-19”, which will be streamed live via Zoom from its auditorium today until Thursday, from 1-3pm.
A collaboration with Thammasat’s Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, the conference aims to promote HM Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother’s initiatives, Thai art and crafts, and provide museum professionals and academics from Thailand and abroad an opportunity to share their research and experiences about textiles, costume and fashion history, weaving technology, crafts, museums, and textile conservation.
