TAT urges expats to travel and boost year-end tourism

Dubbed the “Amazing Thailand Expat Privileges” campaign, the promotion offers up to 80% discounts on a variety of services including accommodation, restaurants, health & wellness, and travel.

TAT governor Thapanee Kiatphaibool says the campaign aims to boost domestic tourism and help achieve the 2024 tourism goals, which are targeting total revenue of 3 trillion baht.

Under the campaign, 10,000 privileges will be granted for visits to national parks across Thailand, allowing free entrance to expats and foreign tourists between December 2023 and February 2024.

True Corporation is partnering with TAT for the campaign, with its its chief marketing executive Tanaphon Manavutiveth noting that about 54% (.2 million people) of expats in Thailand are customers of True-DTAC, including both roaming and new number services.
