South Korea agrees to help boost medical services, build cooperation

The Embassy of South Korea, the Korean Association in Thailand and the Bangkok Hospital group have signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at boosting medical services for South Korean nationals in the kingdom.

Moon Seong-hyun, Korean ambassador; Hong Jihee, vice chair of the Korean Association; and Dr Matinee Maipang, deputy CEO of 1BDMS Group and director at Bangkok Hospital Headquarters, agreed to build cooperation in the field by signing the MoU.

The MoU is aimed at providing comprehensive services, including emergency care, to the South Korean community in Thailand.

Supported by cutting-edge technology, along with highly-specialised multidisciplinary teams, this collaboration aims to improve quality of life while promoting health and well-being, according to the embassy.
