After weeks of explosive testimony and jury deliberations, the defamation case between star Johnny Depp and ex-wife Amber Heard has finally ended.

The seven-person jury found Depp had been defamed by Heard when she described herself in a 2018 op-ed in The Washington Post as a “public figure representing domestic abuse”. While Depp celebrates the verdict, Heard plans to appeal the jury’s decision.
