Question about paying taxes in Thailand

I am living in bkk for 7 months already (ED visa), made a local bank card and I was wondering if I’ll need to pay any taxes if salary comes to that card account. The company I work for is located on Cyprus and I’ve heard that taxes need to be paid only if you generate your income inside Thailand. If you work remotely for a foreign company, then paying taxes is not necessary. Is that true? Because I’ve also heard that if your income is more than 150k baht a year, then you will need to pay taxes anyway. Please advice.
