Possible move to chiang mai from HCMC

hi everyone,

i am reaching out to ask a few questions regarding a possible move to chiang mai for my husbands job. we currently live in HCMC and love it, however we are looking to possibly move to chiang mai for a better opportunity.

we have 2 kids ages 8 and 10 and go to an excellent IB school. i would like to know what international schools are mostly recommended ? what about housing? we currently live in an apartment but would prefer to live in a house in chiang mai.

we have lived in pattaya before so i am a bit familiar with the thai community but i am more concerned about life in chiang mai as i hear its smaller and very different.

things to do? i can google but a little insight from someone who is there and in the same shoes is quite helpful at this time.

the move would be around the new school year
