I recently returned from a 2-week vacation in Phuket (Rawai), and I wanted to share my expense breakdown for those wondering about the cost. Keep in mind, this is for reference purposes only, as your expenses may vary based on individual preferences.
Plane ticket (1 person): €1300
Apartment with a spacious terrace, great views, and a jacuzzi (including electricity and cleaning every 2 days): €1500 (for 14 days)
Transportation 1: Private van with chauffeur (2500 baht a day for 8 hours x 14 days): 35,000 baht
Transportation 2: Motorcycle rental (550 baht a day x 14 days): 7,700 baht
Food (for 2 people):
– Breakfast and lunch (approximately 1500 baht x 14 days): 21,000 baht +/-
– Dinner (approximately 2000/2500 baht x 14 days): 30,000 baht +/-
Day trips, shopping, and activities ( for 2 people ) : 30,000 baht +/-
In total : approximately € 6000 ( not included the spending in airports and layover in doha qatar .
Note: These are my expenses, and your spending may differ depending on your preferences. This was not a hostel/backpacking vacation.
