Phaya Thai Palace, widely known as Wang Phaya Thai, will be transformed into a sparkling wonderland full of illuminations and lights during “The Glory Of Siam” starting tomorrow, from 6pm to 9.30pm daily until March 16.
Held in a night museum atmosphere by the Phaya Thai Palace Conversation Foundation, the exhibition is to celebrate the 101st anniversary of the palace, which was formerly the residence of Queen Saovabha Phongsri before it was turned into a hotel, then a radio broadcast station and later a clinic for the Royal Thai Army.
The month-long event will be see millions of LED lights wrapped around the giant tree and buildings, offering a stunning visual display along with captivating 3D light projection shows.
