Noise Pollution

A lot of folks talk about air pollution in Chiang Mai, and Thailand more generally. I’m currently enjoying a balcony sit on a small urban street where I can almost peacefully listen to the birds.

This would be a far more enjoyable city with more noise barriers like trees and green spaces that double as shade and climate control.

Are there any local movements/organizations or politicians pushing for this?
