Must a new Thai government take the new president from Brazil as an example and take a path to break the bands with “Traditional Western Conservative” powers and look more to BRICS (and ASEAN)?

A few days ago, there was a posting that: hopefully, the voters in Thailand will act the same as in Brazil, and that the conservative right government will be replaced by a modern, open, and freedom-based government, stepping away from the traditional conservative right visions for politics.

Many people supported this idea.

In Brazil, the new president focus more on BRICS and started the procedure to replace the US Dollar for international trade with local currencies.

From the news:

Brazil’s president wants to end dollar dominance and backs calls for BRICS nations to use their own currency.

My question is: Do you follow the idea that Thailand, if it breaks internally with the conservative traditional powers, also has to do the same on the international level?

Breaking with conservative Western structures, in the meaning of, focusing more on Thailand, in combination with BRICS and ASEAN, and replacing the US Dollar with regional local currencies for international trade?

Like in Brazil, building a (Thai) nation with the focus on “doing what is good for the people”, and don’t focus on “doing what is good to make the USA and Europe” happy?

For example:

If Thailand believes that “buying gas and oil from Russia will make electricity in Thailand cheaper”, the priority has to be, a cheaper price for the Thais, so we buy, and we don’t care, or little bit care, if Europe or USA is angry?

(I especially use, if Thailand believes, believing is often stronger than reality)

Or very simplified, if you don’t believe in military thinking or military solutions, and your goal is to make the influence of the military in your country minimal, why will you listen to Western military generals/leaders who will tell you how to act?

What is your idea about this?

Follow Brazil and focus more on BRICS and ASEAN or internationally, all have to stay the same?
