For context, I’m going to be moving to BKK soon. I have been there for months prior to this and finally deciding that I should make the move, or at least try. I have friends in BKK, but most are busy with their on-site work — while I work remotely and have more flexible hours. I normally pass as Thai (I will disclose more details on DM), but only started to really learn more than the basic sentences and responses to live and be respectful to the norms here.
I don’t drink and I’m still trying to quit cigarettes. I don’t mind chilling and going out to bars, clubs, dispensaries and all though — not picky at all. I love exploring the country as a local, especially after going there repeatedly over time as a tourist.
I believe that part of making my move smoother is to build a support system over time. So, if anyone is looking for a friend to chill with, let me know!
