MotoGP™’s new CCO talks Asian tour and US growth

Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia and more all show a special kind of love and support for MotoGP™, but you can never quite truly comprehend it without being sat in the stands for the first time – as new CCO at MotoGP™, Dan Rossomondo, recently discovered.

The former NBA exec sat down with the Sports Business Journal to talk about the Grand Prix paddock’s current tour of Asia and potential growth within his native US.

“What an unbelievable privilege it is to take a sport that brings so much joy to people, and seeing their faces in Lombok [Indonesia] or even Emilia-Romagna [in Italy], which is the heart of MotoGP,” Rossomondo said. “It’s a privilege to race there and bring an entertainment product that brings such joy to people.
