At these levels one could argue the SET looks appealing, trading at near BV – yes yes I know I know, the new economy doesn’t need assets in order to do business, but at the end of the market it is a market metric that (I believe) holds in this part of the world – and hey, got oil, got food? These are real assets that are more important than a dating app company or a delivery company that can send you a burger at 3am.
We’re coming into earnings season – management buying/selling of shares is going to be non-existent (or non-public), will be interesting to see what to comes out. I still think there may be several positive surprises amongst the bigger players across each industry.
