Majority satisfied with govt’s Covid relief measures: Suan Dusit Poll

A majority of people are satisfied with relief measures taken by the government to mitigate the impacts from the Covid-19 pandemic except that there are too many conditions attached, according to an opinion survey by the Suan Dusit Rajabhat University, or Suan Dusit Poll.

The poll was conducted online on Feb 23-26 on 1,087 people throughout the country to compile their opinions on the measures.

In terms of satisfaction, a majority, 68.26% of the respondents, were satisfied – 50.60% moderately and 17.66% highly. On the contrary, 19.69% said they were fairly dissatisfied with the measures and 12.25% completely dissatisfied.

The respondents were asked to mention the “strong points” and “weak points” of the measures, with each allowed to give more than one answer.
