Looking for recommendations for a Thai island for a family holiday (10 adults) and a toddler

Can you recommend a Thai island that’s not too inconvenient to travel to as we will be travelling with an infant (and possibly older family members).

Prefer it not to be a tourist trap, want to avoid Phuket and Phi Phi for example. Didn’t enjoy Krabi for that very reason, nor Koh Chang so much due to the lack of ambiance.

Have loved Koh Mak, Koh Phan Nan, Koh Kood, Koh Kong (towards Cambodia). I like the idea of Koh Tao but the journey just to get there makes me think we should give it a miss, especially with a toddler. I also like the idea of Langkawi (nearer Malaysia) or islands near Phang Nga Bay.

Any advice would be appreciated!
