Krungsri enhances security Transfer money through the app from 50,000 baht, must scan the face.

Bank of Ayudhya Public Company Limited responds to the Bank of Thailand’s (BOT) policy by enhancing security for money transfer transactions and increasing credit limit via KMA krungsri app and Krungsri Biz Online.

In which app users must verify their identity by scanning their faces. These guidelines will be effective from June 2023 onwards. For KMA krungsri app, effective from June 27, 2023 and for Krungsri Biz Online, effective from June 19, 2023 (only for individual customers with Single Control).

The measures are in place to help prevent scammers from transferring money without the account holder’s permission. Which transactions that must be scanned to complete the transaction are:

  1. Transfer money to other people from 50,000 baht per transaction
  2. Transfers with cumulative totals from 200,000 baht per day
  3. Increase the transfer limit to allow transfers from 50,000 baht or more

For customers who have never had a photo with the bank You can bring your ID card to a bank branch near your home to take a photo of your face from today. By scanning their faces, customers will be able to verify their identity more conveniently, quickly and securely in making transactions via the bank’s mobile app.
