Where to get a US visa appointment in a day

If you are among the scores of Indians applying for a US visa right now, you’ve likely been given a wait time of hundreds of days for your visitor visa interview. The official current wait time at US consulates in India is about 500 days, though many have been assigned a wait time of up to 800 days—that’s three years. US consulates in India are struggling to cope with heavy pandemic backlogs. 

In an effort to make the process smoother, the embassy announced on 3 February that Indian nationals can apply for B1/B2 visas at international destinations as well.
