I’m planning a trip to Krabi for next year. I can do either April (15-28), July (8-21) or September (27 Sep-11 Oct).
I’ve checked weather conditions and April appears to get the least amount of rain, then July then the Sep/Oct period which is very high. Temp and humidity is similar to where I live (Sydney) so that won’t be an issue.
I’m mainly worried about the rain, and being able to travel around the area just to get food from restaurants/supermarkets. I also won’t be renting a car. I have a car license but hate driving in general in my own city, so I’m unlikely to rent a car. I’ll have to get taxis or organise something with the hotel.
I’ll be staying in Koh Lanta and may do a few organised day tours (Island hopping etc.) but it’ll be minimal. I’m mostly going to eat, laze around in the hotel room and sit at the beach.
Would you go in April, July or September?
