Buriram, Dragons seal wins

Buriram United sent Rayong closer to relegation with a 5-0 win in Thai League 1 last night.

The visiting Thunder Castle took a 2-0 lead at half-time with goals from Piyaphon Phanichakul after two minutes and Pansa Hemviboon in the 20th minute.

Supachok Sarachat made it 3-0 after 52 minutes before Rayong’s Arongkorn Thongjeen was sent off in the 62nd minute.

Piyaphon netted his second goal in the 70 minute and Jakkrit Larbtrakool scored his team’s fifth goal in the 87th minute.

Third-placed Buriram are now just five points behind second-ranked Port.

Rayong remain at the bottom, 10 points from safety.

After three successive losses, Ratchaburi returned to winning ways with a 4-0 home win against Police Tero.
