Kindrill Reveals ASEAN Organizations Focusing on Sustainable Business Operations • Thumbsup

Kindryl, or Kyndryl (NYSE: KD), is the world’s largest provider of information technology infrastructure. The results indicated that Although ASEAN organizations recognize their responsibility to balance sustainability and profitability, But there are still a number of challenges that prevent organizations from setting and achieving sustainability goals.

Several important insights were discovered from this study. which reflects the status of sustainable organizations in ASEAN, including:

  • Sustainability is a top priority of any business.

The study found that 77% of ASEAN organizations are focusing on sustainability. These organizations are driven to develop themselves and express their ESG consciousness through action and investment. Whether in terms of customers, investors, and government sustainability regulations, however, many organizations are trying to achieve their sustainability goals without any strategic support, with only 23% of ASEAN organizations having a sustainability strategy.

  • Many organizations still lack holistic sustainability strategies.

Most organizations focus on budgeting for sustainability initiatives. But it does not focus on the skills and information needed to support those initiatives. Only 4% of organizations across the ASEAN region have a holistic strategy and are focused on tackling external challenges and challenges. facing challenges such as managing ambiguous frameworks.

  • Customers and investors are the drivers of sustainability.
