Kata Beach & Phuket old Town – Should I cancel the vacation? :(

Hi!! I have a flight tmr flying to Phuket and staying for 9 days. My accommodations are booked in Kata Beach and Phuket Town. Both of which are non-refundable :(

Does anyone knows if the flooding situation is getting better on the road from the airport, in Kata and Phuket Old Town area?

Also, any recommendations on just forfeiting the deposit for the whole holiday or just take the risk and take the flight tomorrow to Phuket?
