[The Thaiger](https://thethaiger.com/guides/press-room/jungceylon-welcomes-shoppers-ahead-of-christmas-and-new-year) is reporting that parts of Jungceylon, Patong’s mall, are reopened following a major renovation that is continuing throughout 2023. I’ve not been there this week so I don’t have first hand knowledge, and it’s a bit unclear as to exactly which stores are reopened, but it’s a positive sign. Central, which is across the street, opened a couple of months ago.
