Tops app — I cannot get it to work!

Ok, maybe I am a tech doofus, but I cannot get the Tops food delivery app to work. Specifically, I cannot log in to my account. I created an account in the iPad app using an email address, all good. But now, a week later, I cannot log into that account. I enter the email address for login, I get sent an email link to login, I click the link in the email, this opens a new Tops page, but the new Tops page is not logged in. The new Tops pages again requests a login. It is a circle.

Has anyone else this problem? Can anyone tell me how to get this working? I have tried both on my iPad and Macbook Air.
