Is the XBOX or the PS5 more common here in Thailand?

So I’m from Australia and spending 5 months at a time in Thailand. Was thinking of getting either a PS5 or an Xbox however I’m reading posts that the Xbox isn’t supported in Thailand does this sound right ?

Does anyone here have any experience playing console games here in Thailand especially Xbox. Multiplayer ?

Will multiplayer capability be a problem and how about region issues and can I bring the console back to Australia and use it over there as if I bought it from over there?
