Immigration Recheck?

UPDATE: I asked the officer to tell me his division which happened to be nearby my home so I went by there today to check if it’s legit. Turns out they are really double checking at random. Making sure that married couples are actually (or still) together and it’s supposedly a random selection of people who get rechecked.
He will come to my house next week.

Original Post: I got a call from a man saying that he is from immigration and they want to come check my house again. We did the yearly non-o visa in May 2023. They came to visit and everything was cleared. Got the visa.

Just now I got a call that they want to come again and check. I told him that we moved to a new house a month ago which he didn’t know even though we did the TM30 already. He wants me to send the location to him. He added me by LINE and is asking for a pin.

I’ve been here for 9 years and I’ve never had this happen. In light of all the scams happening lately, I’m not so trusting and haven’t sent any information yet.

Is there a way to know if it’s legit?
