Brewpub by trusted names in Bangkok craft scene opens Friday in Chatuchak

On Friday, Bangkok will welcome a brand new brewpub in the northern neighborhood of Prachachuen.

Rong Beer Saha Prachachuen (United People of Prachachuen Brewery, roughly) will welcome craft beer aficionados with a number of taps. Brews made on location will debut at a later date.

The folks behind the venue are no strangers to the craft beer scene: booze distributor Group B Beer, and the brewers of local labels Sandport and Yod Beer – the latter of which operates a nearby craft beer hangout called Yod Bar.

The venue will open with beers on tap and a few bar bites, according to Yod Bar’s Saranya “Tree” Airwangtako. The brewery will begin making its own supply in its fermentation tanks once it acquires approval from the excise department.
