Ikea Sukhumvit opens Dec 1

Dubbed the first Ikea city store in Southeast Asia, Ikea Sukhumvit will open its door on Dec 1 on the third floor of The Emsphere, marking the 12th year of Ikea in Thailand (and serving countless condos along the busy road).

The new store, Ikea’s fourth Thai location, spans 12,000m² and follows similar layouts of its predecessors in Bang Na and Bang Yai, which opened in 2011 and 2017, respectively.

Existing Ikea enthusiasts would know the drill. Walking on a winding route starting from the showroom, passing through different departments, optionally stopping by the restaurant before checking out. However, the Sukhumvit store comes with a few twists of its own.
