Today, August 15th, 2023, is the anniversary of Indian Independence and is always a huge day to commemorate and mark the day at Places like Jannaat Nightclub in Pattaya, Thailand on the world famous Walking Street!
Indian Independence Day is a celebration of India’s freedom from British colonial rule on August 15, 1947. On this day, India’s first Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru, hoisted the national flag at the Red Fort in Delhi and delivered his famous speech, “Tryst with Destiny”. The speech declared India’s sovereignty and highlighted the sacrifices and struggles of the freedom fighters who fought for India’s independence.
Even here in Pattaya, Thailand many Indian nationals and friends will celebrate India’s independence with a variety of events and celebrations including at Jannaat Nightclub!
