The surprise win of Thailand opposition parties in the May 14th general election dealt a historic loss to the ruling military junta, which has ruled the country since the 2014 coup d’etat. On the streets, pro-democracy activists hold hope but express their impatience with the obstruction in forming the democratically-elected government.
