We are staying in Bangkok for a month, but plan to travel around for 3-4 days to different locations. At some point I’d like to visit a beach.
I like the idea of the train to Pattaya. But the idea of walking around streets dodging ping-pong shows, wasted Russians, shit filled sea and sex tourists (all hear say from the internet) don’t appeal with a family.
Having said all that, a lot appeals about Pattaya, the kid will want to see the sea, snorkeling would be great, but we wouldn’t be spending the whole day on the beach, so the likes of the water park and other day activities would be required. Pattaya fills these requirements.
Is the internet wrong about Pattaya for families? Or is there a better choice that meets the family beach, with day activities?
