Energy expert Manoon dies, aged 74

Energy expert Manoon Siriwan died after a heart attack on Tuesday at the age of 74 years.

He was adviser to the Thailand Energy Academy of the Energy Ministry and chairman of Business Management Co.

Manoon had a meeting at the Energy Ministry on Tuesday morning and later passed out while having lunch in its canteen about noon. He was rushed to Vibhavadi Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Manoon had bachelor’s and master’s degrees in political science from Chulalongkorn University and an Advanced Management Programme diploma from Griffith University in Australia.
