I met a girl in a club one night, although nothing happened, we just talked, and she invited me and a friend for drinks. But the next day, she started messaging me on Instagram, asking me to go to the club from the night before, where she had a bottle of whiskey reserved for me, and I wouldn’t have to pay for anything I drank because she would cover it all.
It sounded very strange to me; I thought they might take my organs. In fact, I didn’t want to go, but a friend encouraged me, and in the end, I went. I must say I have no trouble attracting attention in my country, so I wasn’t particularly interested in this girl.
When I arrived at the bar, she was not only waiting for me but also had a bottle, and we drank a lot. Later, we went to a karaoke to eat and drink, and she kept paying.
I spent 3 days at her place, and although I paid for some dinners, she covered a lot and gave me gifts. I think it’s a technique similar to the one in the Netflix show about Tinder ; otherwise, I can’t explain it.
Everything still seemed very strange to me. After 3 days, I was going to an island with my friend, and she started getting jealous, saying I was sleeping with my friend and creating fake Instagram profiles to talk to me. A very crazy thing.
In the end, we argued, and a few days later, she started asking me for money for some story. That’s when I told her to forget it; I wouldn’t give her a cent.
She fits the description of what’s called a ‘bar girl’ here. She worked in that bar, has tattoos, is tanned, and occasionally appears in photos with some guy. However, she is insanely jealous.
The thing is, she asked me to grab a drink tonight. I know how it works, and obviously, I’m not going to fall in love with her, especially because she’s crazy. But I want to know if I’m in any danger of her stealing from me or some kind of scam. I wouldn’t mind paying for some drinks.
She suggested going to a bar that I know that bar, and it’s ‘normal,’ so I don’t think anything will happen, but I’m somewhat undecided about whether to go or not.
