Trying to find an answer but I haven’t had any luck… I am flying with Eva Air through Taiwan back to Canada and wondering if any has brought disposable vapes back this same route.. I don’t vape but my partner does so I bought 6 of them for his stocking stuffer. Problem is, I am just finding out it isn’t just frowned upon but illegal in Thailand. I dumbly didn’t research enough before I bought and now I think I wasted my money. Eva Air says they gotta be in my carry on but I keep seeing people say they just put them in their checked baggage without any issue; maybe 1 not 6 tho. And Taiwan says it’s forbidden to bring them in too, even tho I am just connecting through Taiwan. Do airports scan departing baggage (especially at Bangkok and Taiwan airports) with X-Ray machines that carry on luggage goes through too? I don’t want to waste my money but I’m also highly not risking going to jail here even though I am already breaking the law by purchasing and having them in my possession.
