Thailand International Cyber Week 2024 (powered by NCSA)

Air Vice Marshal Amorn Chomchoey, the Secretary-General of NCSC at the National Cyber Security Agency, Thailand and a representative of the Prime Minister stated that “In the digital realm, cyber threats lurk, adapting like chameleons to exploit trust, innovation, and data. Frauds and scams wield digital tools, ensnaring victims in moments of vulnerability, leading to devastating financial losses. Phishing tactics have evolved beyond emails to infiltrate SMS, messaging apps, and social media, mimicking authenticity with alarming precision. Data breaches silently breach digital fortresses, causing widespread havoc in both personal and professional realms, often due to inadequate protection. The emergence of artificial intelligence amplifies the sophistication of cyber-attacks, while the looming potential of quantum computing threatens the security of modern encryption, reminding us that today’s secrets may not remain hidden tomorrow.”

“Cybersec Asia x Thailand International Cyber Week 2024 (powered by NCSA) embodies the Thai government’s unwavering commitment to building a robust and resilient cybersecurity ecosystem. The event offers details of cyber threats, showcases cutting-edge solutions, and fosters collaboration between stakeholders. This event is a testament to our strong commitment to securing the digital landscape” He concluded.
